Eligibility criteria

Educational and experience requirements differ by post; all qualifications must be from recognised institutions and final results declared on or before 30 November 2025. Hindi and English typing knowledge is mandatory for Computer Operator and Society Manager posts.

  • Computer Operator / Computer Operator (Sambida) / Society Manager: Graduation from a recognised university plus a one-year computer diploma (UGC-recognised, DOEACC, Modern Office Management Course from Government Polytechnic, or COPA certificate from Government ITI) OR qualifications such as BE/B.Tech (CSE/IT), MCA, BCA, M.Sc. (IT/CS), B.Sc. (IT/CS), M.Tech/M.E., or AICTE-approved Polytechnic Diploma in Computer Science/Applications/IT, or B.Sc./B.Com with one subject of Computer.
  • Computer Operator (Sambida) — experience: Candidates with prior contract service in district banks (with Registrar approval) and minimum five years’ work experience in DCCBs are eligible under the sambida category.
  • Officer Grade: Post-specific professional qualifications and minimum relevant experience are required (details include BE/B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc for programming roles, first class graduation/post-graduation/MBA/CA/ICWA for finance and audit roles, with experience periods as specified in the notification).

Age limit and relaxations

Age limits apply as on 30 November 2025 and vary by post; state domicile relaxations are provided under specified categories.

  • Computer Operator and Society Manager: 18 to 35 years (40 years with relaxation). Candidates must have been born not earlier than 01.12.1990 and not later than 30.11.2007.
  • Computer Operator (Sambida): 18 to 55 years.
  • Age relaxation for Madhya Pradesh state domicile candidates: Female, SC/ST, OBC, existing bank/short term credit cooperative employees of MP, PwBD, ex-servicemen/home guard — up to 5 years. Female candidates can combine their relaxation with SC/ST/OBC benefits where applicable; other relaxations cannot be clubbed beyond stated provisions.

Salary and pay scales

  • Payment period for application fee: 06 January 2026 to 05 February 2026. Bank transaction charges borne by candidate; fee is non-refundable.
  • Application fee (Clerk posts): SC/ST/PwBD — Rs. 650 + 18% GST; Others — Rs. 850 + 18% GST. Application fee (Officer posts): SC/ST/PwBD — Rs. 800 + 18% GST; Others — Rs. 1,100 + 18% GST.

Selection process and exam pattern

Selection is based primarily on an online examination conducted by IBPS Mumbai, followed by document verification, medical exam and final consolidation of marks where applicable.

  • Online examination: 200 questions, 200 marks, 120 minutes total duration; objective multiple-choice with five alternatives in English and Hindi (except English test).
  • Sectional composition and time: Computer Knowledge — 40 questions (20 marks) — 20 minutes; Reasoning — 40 questions (50 marks) — 25 minutes; English Language — 40 questions (40 marks) — 25 minutes; General Awareness — 40 questions (40 marks) — 20 minutes; Quantitative Aptitude — 40 questions (50 marks) — 30 minutes.
  • Negative marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer.
  • EWS candidates (MP domicile) receive 10% relaxation in cut-off marks. Merit lists and waiting lists will be prepared as per notification; merit list validity is one year from result publication.

  • Required uploads and specifications: photograph (4.5cm × 3.5cm, 20–50 KB, JPG/JPEG), signature in black ink (140×60 pixels, 10–20 KB), left thumb impression (240×240 pixels, 20–50 KB), handwritten declaration in English on white paper (800×400 pixels, 50–100 KB). The declaration text is provided in the notification and must be uploaded as specified.
  • Validate, preview and complete registration; take printout of e-Receipt and application for future reference. Signature in CAPITAL LETTERS will not be accepted.

General instructions and important information

Candidates must note several procedural and eligibility conditions that affect application and appointment.

  • Apply for only one district bank and one post. If multiple applications are submitted, the latest will be considered.
  • Reservation and age-relaxation benefits apply only to Madhya Pradesh domicile candidates, and OBC candidates must submit non-creamy layer certificates dated within one year prior to the last date.
  • Minimum service tenure after appointment: five years; probation period: 12 months (extendable up to 24 months).
  • Examination centres are located in Bhopal, Gwalior, Indore, Jabalpur, Sagar, Ujjain and Satna; candidates must select four exam centre preferences.
  • Applicants serving in Government/PSU must produce No Objection Certificate at document verification. Family members of DCCB Board of Directors are not eligible to apply.
