Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must satisfy age and educational requirements as specified for the Agniveer Vayu posts.
Date of Birth
Age eligibility is determined by date of birth limits and upper age on enrolment.

Salary, Stipend and Benefits
Agniveer Vayu trainees will receive monthly pay with specified in-hand amounts and corpus contributions during the four-year engagement.

Selection Process
The selection comprises a three-phase process: online test (CBT), ASC testing including physical and adaptability assessments, and medical examination conducted by the Air Force Medical Team.
Phase I – Online Test (CBT)
The CBT is bilingual (English & Hindi); marking scheme and stream-wise duration and subjects are specified below.
Marking: +1 for correct, 0 for unattempted, -0.25 for wrong. Normalisation will be applied across sessions.

Phase II – ASC Testing (State-wise Shortlisting)
Candidates shortlisted from the CBT will undergo state-wise ASC testing which includes document verification, physical fitness tests and adaptability tests.

Phase III – Medical Examination
Final medical examination is conducted by the Air Force Medical Team and includes labs, X-ray, ECG and other required tests; an Appeal Medical Board is available for a fee of ₹40.
Medical and General Standards
