The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released admit cards for the Home Department written examinations scheduled for 18 February 2026. Candidates can download their admit cards from the official website starting 14 February 2026 using their application credentials. The exams for Assistant Scientific Officer (Chemistry & Toxicology) and Assistant Scientific Officer (Documents) will be held on the same day in two shifts; candidates must follow the instructions on the admit card, report early for biometric and facial authentication, and print the admit card in advance.

Instructions for candidates
JKSSB has issued specific guidelines that candidates must follow at the examination centres and while obtaining the admit card.
- Biometric / Facial Authentication: Candidates must report to their respective examination centres at least two (02) hours before the scheduled exam time for biometric and facial authentication.
- Printout Mandatory: Candidates should take a printout of the admit card well in advance to avoid last-minute technical issues.
- Strict Action on Misconduct: Any case of misrepresentation, concealment of facts, impersonation, or fraud will lead to cancellation of candidature and disciplinary action.
If you are unable to download the admit card
The Board has specified a procedure for candidates who face issues downloading their admit cards.
- Candidates unable to download the admit card must approach the Board two days before the examination date with valid proof of online application and fee payment.
- Failure to approach the Board with the required proof within the specified timeframe will be treated as non-interest in appearing for the examination.
