Exam schedule and city intimation
The CBT will be conducted across India at centres allotted by RRB. Candidates must check the exam city intimation slip and admit card separately.
- CBT dates: 11 & 12 February 2026.
- Exam City Intimation Slip is activated 10 days before the exam date.
- For candidates scheduled on 11 February 2026, the city slip was expected to be available from 03 February 2026.
- Admit card download begins 4 days prior to the exam date mentioned in the city & date intimation link.
Syllabus and exam pattern
The CBT comprises objective-type questions covering analytical, logical and mental reasoning topics. The overall test duration is two hours.

Marking scheme
The CBT follows a negative marking policy and uses normalized scores for shortlisting.
- Negative marking: 1/3 mark deducted for each wrong answer.
- No penalty for unattempted questions.
- Normalized CBT scores will be used for shortlisting candidates for subsequent stages.
How to download the admit card
Admit cards are available through the official RRB admit card portal. Candidates must download and print the admit card for exam-day use.

- On the login page, enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth.
- Fill in the Captcha Code correctly and submit to access the admit card.
- Download and print multiple copies for exam day.
Important instructions for candidates
Candidates must follow the exam-day directions specified on the admit card and ensure they carry required documents to the centre.

- Bring a valid photo ID proof as specified on the admit card.
